

Youth and Young Adult Counseling Services
A mental health crisis is when a child is at risk of harming themselves or others, or if their emotions and behavior seem extreme and out of control.
Warning signs of mental health crisis may include:
- Expressing suicidal thoughts, either through explicit statements such as “I want to die” or more vague statements such as “I don’t want to be here anymore”
- Making threats to harm others or themselves
- Engaging in self-injurious behavior, such as cutting or burning
- Expressing severe agitation and aggression, including physical aggression, destruction of property, hostility, etc.
- Experiencing hallucinations or delusions
- Isolating themselves from friends and family
Therapy Services
Our in-person youth therapy program services are provided by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. The services begin with a call to our intake line to schedule an appointment with a therapist. Our services will address a wide range of presenting concerns such as:depression, anxiety, bullying, ADHD, family conflict, navigating divorce, low self-esteem, peer pressure, anger management, school and test anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, self harm prevention, parenting challenges, supporting LGBTQ youth, and the effects of chronic stress due to a traumatic experience. Crisis Hotline
Trained bi-lingual staff will provide supportive listening, coping counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals to housing and counseling services to youth and young adults ages 10-25 . All help lines are confidential and available 24 hours a day 7 days per week. We provide emergency stabilization, follow-up counseling and supportive services.
